Scrap to Gold is aN INNOVATIVE AND ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE program designed to ASSIST PEOPLE RECEIVING SUPPORT THROUGH VINCENTCARE, THROUGH THE PROCEEDS OF RECYCLING SCRAP METAL.

It involves supporting businesses and the community to protect the environment and their resources by recycling scrap metal. Metal such as structural steel, wear metal or any other types of scrap metal that are not contaminated are able to be recycled. 

The donated proceeds are used by Vincentcare's mental health service which offers individually tailored support to people living in our accommodation to support them in their recovery journey.

The program is a special works of the St Vincent de Paul Society (WA) and recognises the uniqueness of the individual and works with them in partnership to build a good life which offers them hope, real choices and a positive sense of self.
